1st Annual Conference September 23, 2017 Time: 8:45-5:00 UNCG SCHOOL OF EDUCATION
The Coalition for Diversity in Language and Culture hosted the 1st Annual Conference to explore what it means to teach today’s evolving youth in ways that foster their diverse languages, literacies, and cultural practices. Promoting linguistic and cultural pluralism means reaching beyond making teaching and learning relevant or responsive; it calls for a commitment to critical approaches and pedagogies that work towards inclusion and equity.
